We love Cortona and have been there 6 times so we know our way around. Siamo quasi cittadini! San Benedetto is very good value. The views from the windows are fantastic. The location is very good. The appartment owners are very friendly and helped us a lot. Simone thank you for helping me reconnect to the net!

Some people will be more critical. There are 40 stairs to climb to the appartment but it is worth it. The shower is functional but a wet floor could be dangerous. A kettle and baking trays for the oven would make it a bit easier but why cook in Cortona?

We would certainly go back again.

Final tip. If it is raining and you can't locate the appartment stand in the doorway of San Benedetto Church and use your telefonino to call for help!

The apartment owner was friendly and helpful. We found the apartment comfortable and it had an excellent view of the surrounding country. There was free parking near by.It is within easy walking distance of the town center as it is within the walls of Cortona. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful spot with fantastic view. Comfortable bed. Good value. Convenient location. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate for a lovely holiday. Absolutely would rent again.

I would not say that anything "didn't satisfy" me. I would rather point out for informational purposes, that there were forty two stairs to our room. Also, the shower is of the type where water gets all over the bathroom floor and must be mopped up after each use. If you need the lovely Italian folks who rent this place to speak English, they do not have much. None of this was at all an issue for us but, I can see where it could be for others.

App. San Benedetto is a gorgeous place to stay! Everything was absolutely amazing, the houseowner very friendly and helpful. Town centre just a short walk away, car park nearby and free of charge. The appartment was bigger than expected, very well equipped and absolutely clean. We will definitely be back some day!!
